Focused Land Development

• Review the current Etobicoke Centre Secondary Plan and implement infrastructure changes that better service the residents in the area.
• Public input and assessment of current planning proposals of The Queensway and Dundas corridors.  Construction and design should be site specific with focus on lowering building heights. Buildings should be aesthetically pleasing with more emphasis on setbacks so as to avoid shadow effect especially in certain highly populated areas. New construction should include solar and wind power energy with the costs to be paid by the developer.
• Reduce urbanization of our green spaces. Preserve them for future generations
• In order to revitalize Etobicoke/ Lakeshore Ward 5 I propose a privately funded Arts and Cultural Centre with underground parking and transit accessibility. This centre will include open landscaping, business retail, WiFi, and new job creations.
• To promote well-being, I propose a privately funded Velodrome which will provide athletic training with year round public use.
• The Velodrome can be used for future Pan American Games which is coming to Toronto 2015. This will boost the economy and promote Toronto tourism worldwide.

Transportation

• Improve and modernize our subway system so that it can expand with the growth of the city.
• Support and endorse the subway extension to the East Mall. The location will host a TTC subway/bus terminal which will serve the entire community and Mississauga Transit thus improving traffic flow with less noise and pollution. 
• Enhance our transportation system by reducing the speed limit along Dundas Street and the Queensway and softening the area by adding dedicated fully landscaped medians and an Urban Transit Lane for buses, taxis, and licensed cyclists with restricted hours.
• Review and implement pedestrian and public safety measures at crosswalks, phased in lighting at intersections, speed bumps in residential neighbourhoods adjacent to parks and school grounds, turn abouts and traffic circles.  

Financial Transparency and Accountability

• Council should be accountable and more transparent with spending.
• Repeal of vehicle registration tax.
• Repeal of Toronto property land transfer tax. 
• Freeze councillors' salaries and limit their office expenses.
